Pooley Bridge can be reached from the M6 by exiting at junction 40 Penrith. Follow the sign's for Ullswater A66 westbound. At the Rheged roundabout, follow the A592 for Ullswater for approximately four miles. At the T junction, facing the lake, turn left and head into Pooley Bridge. There are pay and display car parks on both sides of the bridge and limited street parking in front of the Tourist Information Point in the village. Follow the signs on the village side of the bridge directing you to Lakeland Boat Hire via the public footpath (foot access only) to the lake. We are only a two minute walk from Pooley Bridge.
